1. Information We Collect

When you use Skate Cred, we collect:

• Account information: email address, name (via Google sign-in or email registration)
• Athlete profile data: athlete name, date of birth, gender, sport category, club affiliation, bio, photos
• Achievement data: competition results, event details, medals, locations
• Usage data: pages visited, features used (via Google Analytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage athlete profiles
• To generate and display achievement badges
• To show public athlete profiles to visitors
• To provide club-level achievement views for coaches
• To improve the platform through analytics

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Public athlete profiles are visible to anyone with the link. Private profiles are only visible to the parent who created them and their linked club coach.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data. We also use Vercel Analytics for performance monitoring. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (PostgreSQL database) with row-level security policies. Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

6. Children's Privacy

Skate Cred is designed for parents to create profiles on behalf of their minor children. We do not directly collect information from children under 13. Parents control all athlete profile data and can delete it at any time.

7. Your Rights

• Access your data through your dashboard
• Edit or delete athlete profiles at any time
• Delete your entire account via Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account
• Request a copy of your data by contacting admin@skatecred.com
